Capcorp Constructions successfully delivered our new Mercedes-Benz Showroom project in Fyshwick, ACT. Working from pre-construction to make the project feasible through Early Contractor Involvement, through to delivering a high quality and pristine building on time and under budget for Mercedes-Benz and the John McGrath Auto Group.

The project manager was diligent and competent in completing his tasks. His thoroughness was a major controlling factor to the success of the project.

Capcorp’s performance was exceptional. Completed on time, within budget and to our satisfaction.

Gulson Canberra engaged Capcorp in early 2014 for the refurbishment of our building at 279 Canberra Avenue. This building was over 40 years old and we were planning to turn this into our new Fiat Chrysler facility. The team at Capcorp were involved in the early stages of the project and influenced the design to ensure that we achieved our desired outcome without exceeding our overall budget.

The building was completed in December 2014 and we are extremely pleased with the level of finish and the final outcome. IT is hard to convince customers that building is not brand new and that we have in fact renovated an existing building.

Capcorp have been extremely professional in all aspects of this project. The communication and consideration of our requirements is unprecedented with any other commercial builders that we have used. The company culture is evident at all levels from senior staff to the site staff.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the team at Capcorp and look forward to working with them again on any future projects.

Capezio & Co were awarded the Project Management of the Headley Beare refurbishment project under a PM agreement. Capezio successfully completed the works within time and budget.

I found that Capezio worked efficiently and quickly to deliver this project to a very high standard within a very short time frame. I found staff very competent, helpful and efficient. They were proactive in managing this project and as a result it was completed successfully with no issues.

Capcorp was awarded the contract to build and manage the construction of YourGP@Crace which is a combined general practice with suites to lease for other health care providers. The general practice has 9 consulting rooms, a procedures room, a private treatment room, a nurse’s pathology lab and an orthopaedic consultant’s room.

The delivered outcome met all expectations was of a very high standard. The project was well managed and we thought that professionalism of the staff was a very high standard. Meetings were regularly held to ensure critical decisions were made and any actions required were followed up and pursued until resolved.

After allowing for unforeseen rain and other delays the project was completed in a timely manner. Capcorp is congratulated on their performances and recommend them for any similar medical facilities.

Capezio & Co were successful in a competitive tender to complete a full renovation of the Hellenic Club Woden Sports Bar.

With ongoing operations all around the construction site, including conferencing, cafes, bars and restaurants - These projects are often problematic and lead to customer complaints and tension between the owner and the builder. In this case, we were very pleased with how noise and other works were handled and scheduled by Capezio & Co to be least disruptive. We found a high level of professionalism at all levels, including the owner of the company, the project manager, the foreman and the construction team.

The project was delivered in line with a tight timeframe and we are very happy with the final product. Since then we have used Capezio for a number of other jobs and we would be happy to work with them again on large or small projects. We are pleased to recommend Capezio & Co to other organisations undertaking building works.

On behalf of the Department of Education & Training Directorate – School Capital Works, it is my pleasure to provide a reference to Capezio & Co for the new build of the Deakin Preschool Unit.

As the Government Project Officer, I would like to recommend the entire team of staff from Capezio & Co that managed and delivered a very impressive Deakin Preschool.

One of the most impressive parts of this smooth running, low issue project was the constant communication by the Capezio team and the initiative set by the site foreman, nothing seemed to be a problem, issues that were minimal were dealt with swiftly and precisely which helped the project constantly move on to handover target date.

Capezio & Co have continued the excellent service throughout our ‘not so busy’ DLP, their workmanship speaks for itself.

Capezio & Co has successfully undertaken a number of construction works for the Education and Training Directorate. In particular, the company has delivered refurbishment works at Macgregor Primary School, the construction of the new Deakin preschool and the expansion and refurbishment of the Forrest Early Childhood Centre. The directorate has had a very good working relationship with Capezio and Co and has been pleased with the way the company has managed construction projects, including:

• Project Planning;
• Programme Management;
• Project Financial Management;
• Relationship Management; and
• Workplace health and safety hazardous materials management.

Further, the Directorate has been impressed with the way that senior company personnel are readily available to address issues that arise on projects, for example the soil contamination and remediation work on the Forrest Early Childhood Centre site.

Importantly, the feedback from the site facility clients (school principle, business managers, and centre directors) in relation to the working relationship with site managers and employees has been very positive. The company works well with the sites to ensure that the operations of the school and centres are not adversely affected while works are undertaken. The directorates experience is that Capezio & Co delivers projects on time, within budget and establish very good working relationships.

Goodwin Aged Care Services contracted Capezio & Co to build our newest Residential Aged Care Facility at Monash (David Harper House) in the ACT.

I am pleased to advise that this facility was not only constructed on time and budget but is considered or ‘flagship’ residential care facility, offering residents quality, comfort and value for money.

As chief executive director, I congratulate Mr Don Capezio and his team for his work in building David Harper House, Canberra’s best residential care facility.

Over the past 2 years, Community Services Directorate has worked with Capezio & Co to deliver several major development projects, most importantly National Building and Jobs Plan Projects (stimulus works).

Capezio & Co delivered 117 single and two storey residential villas for Supportive Care. Capezio & Co.’s attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high quality project for their client even under tight time lines have been evident with the delivery of Stimulus projects.

Over the past 2 years, The Community Services Directorate has developed a good working relationship with Capezio & Co and where selected from a large panel of builders to undertake works on behalf of the ACT Government. Fast Track projects come with a range of difficulties; Community Services Directorate has always found them professional to work with and would recommend them to others.
